Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge in the construction of the assigned market sector or project type.
- Trains staff on technical construction methods, means, and techniques.
- Develops and implements innovative construction solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively mentors project teams in all scopes of work and trade partner coordination.
- Partners with executives, superintendents, safety, quality, warehouse, HR, and accounting for integrated project execution.
- Coaches, mentors, and develops team members to advance career growth.
- Holds teams accountable to performance goals and project delivery standards.
- Assists with staffing, recruiting, and building cohesive project teams.
- Champions company initiatives, Lean practices, and cultural values.
- Maintains trust and confidence with team members, clients, trade partners, and inspectors.
- Solves issues and conflicts in a proactive, professional manner.
- Oversees project documentation including daily logs, inspections, schedules, labor tracking, constraints, budgets, and procurement.
- Actively participates in personal growth.
- Contributes to constructability reviews.
- Supports development of master schedules, logistics plans, and labor tracking systems.
- Supports budget development and cost control from initial client funding through final project budget.
- Leads bid packaging, leveling, and buyout.
- Leads subcontracting review and approval process.
- Understands contract requirements and works with the project team to mitigate risks.
- Advises and monitors team on procurement of long-lead items and selection of trade partners.
- Performs weekly site walks with a risk mitigation focus.
- Audits documentation and adherence to company standards.
- Directs team members (employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.
- Supports the superintendent with development and maintenance of master schedules across all projects.
- Supports Lean processes and mentors across all projects.
- Audits 6-week look-ahead for accuracy.
- Continuously refines methods to improve schedule adherence.
- Tracks critical path impacts with contract requirements.
- Works with project teams to resolve budget challenges and control costs.
- Audits labor tracking logs to ensure alignment with construction plans and assists with labor budget issues as needed.
- Leads monthly forecasting process.
- Meets or exceeds project financial performance goals.
- Delivers presentations that contribute to securing future work.
- Develops strong relationships with clients, trade partners, vendors, inspectors, and unions.
- Understand and execute to our clients conditions of satisfaction’s.
- Evaluates and implements technology solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Supports best practices and training for new systems.
- Completes Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of six years of commercial construction experience, including at least two years of experience working on healthcare construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial construction projects through preconstruction and construction.
- Experience with alternate project delivery methods, including GC/CM, Design-Build, and CMAR.
- Strong decision making and complex problem-solving skills.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Procore, Timberline (Sage Intacct).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of six years of commercial construction experience, including at least two years of experience working on healthcare construction projects.

Pay
Salary Range: $137,000 to $182,000.
