About the role

This position directs all aspects of planning and management for Front Porch projects—from expanding and remodeling existing facilities to conceptualizing, constructing, and overseeing new environments—ensuring effective technical management and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex project planning, tracking, scope management, contracts and procurement, environmental health and safety (EH&S), quality assurance, engineering, construction, and other project control activities across cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead, coordinate, and monitor the work of design teams, general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive construction plans and current project status records.
  • Continually monitor project performance to confirm progress is consistent with schedules and that work is performed in conformance with contract documents.
  • Identify and assess project risks and bring together the appropriate stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies and resolve issues.
  • Exercise authority to select designers, contractors, and other project vendors.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field, or an Associate’s degree/two years of college plus two years of related work experience, or four years of related work experience.
  • 14+ years leading large capital projects in a private, public, or government sector environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills appropriate to the audience’s needs.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations live or via online/virtual mediums.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Effective conflict management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and executive management.
  • High level of accuracy, even under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to define, develop, and analyze performance measures and metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Certified Project Manager (CPM).
  • 7+ years managing construction projects in a Senior Living environment.

Pay

$170,000 – $190,000 annually.
