Responsibilities

  • Proactively solve problems and remove blockers for infrastructure teams, sponsors, and technical leads.
  • Lead hybrid delivery projects, balancing clear plans and governance with agile practices as needed.
  • Own large, high-complexity infrastructure initiatives from initiation through delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communications.
  • Cross-team coordination, identifying dependencies, securing commitments, and ensuring teams understand their roles in the larger delivery outcome.
  • Enable agile practices, supporting backlog hygiene, intake practices, prioritization conversations, working agreements, definitions of ready and done, retrospectives, and practical delivery metrics.
  • Communicate complex infrastructure delivery details clearly to engineers, managers, sponsors, Steering Committees, and senior leadership.
  • Manage risk, issues, and dependencies, driving mitigation plans and clear decision records.
  • Partner with sponsors, technical leads, engineering managers, business partners, and PMO leadership, navigating ambiguity and aligning competing priorities.
  • Understand and manage the financial and operational realities of enterprise technology delivery, coordinating budgets, vendors, and resources.
  • Work with infrastructure teams across various areas, demonstrating technical credibility and asking good questions.
  • Move forward in ambiguous environments, bringing the right people together, and creating enough clarity for teams to make progress.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, sharing insights and contributing to practical standards, tools, reporting, and ways of working that enhance delivery predictability and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • At least 7 years of project management experience in technology, infrastructure, enterprise IT, or related environments.

  • Practical understanding of agile delivery methods, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, backlog management, sprint or iteration planning, retrospectives, team metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to bridge agile teams and traditional corporate governance needs, translating delivery data, team progress, risks, and dependencies into clear project health updates and leadership-level reporting.
  • Experience working with infrastructure, platform, operations, cloud, networking, security, endpoint, service management, media systems, workplace technology, or enterprise technology teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams or related projects at the same time while maintaining sound judgment, clear priorities, and strong stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong ability to partner with sponsors and technical leads, navigate ambiguity, manage difficult stakeholders, resolve conflict, and drive decisions without overstepping technical ownership.
  • Experience with financial tracking, project budgets, vendor coordination, resource planning conversations, and cost or benefit analysis.
  • Comfortable using project, portfolio, or agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive summaries, delivery plans, RAID logs, schedules, decision records, Steering Committee materials, and implementation readiness documentation.
