About the role

The Senior Project Inspector is responsible for overseeing construction projects in Louisville and Southern Indiana, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project plans and specifications for adherence to local, state, and federal codes.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate directly with contractors and clients to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Good understanding of environmental and sustainability practices.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
