Senior Project Information Specialist with Security Clearance
About the role
We are seeking candidates for a Senior Administrative Specialist position, specifically serving as a Project Information Specialist for the Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The Specialist will perform critical administrative tasks including the review and verification of grant and contract deliverables, publications and reports preparation, internal/external information dissemination, FOIA Program Support and training room/conference room support.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify grant and contract deliverables
- Create and implement organizational or administrative management policies and procedures
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff
- Manage information and records management
- Use a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems
- Write and speak effectively
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot AV equipment issues, and set up conference, board, or training rooms
- Create and edit audio-visual content and set up conference, board, or training rooms
- Manage office and building facilities, human resources, and security
Requirements
- At least 10 years of administrative management or relevant work experience
- Experience in creating and implementing organizational or administrative management policies and procedures
- Experience evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements
- Experience providing training and technical assistance to staff
- Experience in information and records management
- Proficient in the use of a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to move a large number of files and/or file boxes
- Experience providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues with AV equipment during events such as microphone and monitor connectivity; presentations or visual material access
- Experience creating and editing audio-visual content such as presentations and videos
- Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Ability to identify and resolve complex problems
