About the Role

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Project Finance Analyst to support our Corporate Finance Team. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for everyday pricing efforts on current awarded contracts as well as overall project set-up, invoice review/approval, and project financials tracking. The role involves coordinating with government/industry counterparts to provide financial reporting and requirements, and acting as a financial advisor to project managers. You will also provide daily oversight of the Project Finance Group personnel to ensure an effective and efficient group.

U.S. citizenship is required. An active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily management and oversight of the Project Finance (PF) Group personnel to ensure an effective and efficient group.
  • Coordinate regularly with the CFO and other group and area operations managers as appropriate.
  • Ensure PF Group compliance with company policies and security procedures.
  • Determine and resolve PF Group personnel workload issues.
  • Participate in SURVICE Manager meetings.
  • Develop and manage PF Group personnel resource requirements.
  • Lead the formulation and coordination of cost proposal/pricing (new tasks and mods) for awarded IDIQ contracts, current customers, ROMs, and SBIRs.
  • Act as financial advisor to Program Managers/Leads.
  • Prepare cost reports for management and develop corrective financial action plans.
  • Analyze and report variances for projects.
  • Perform or assist with financial compliance and procedural audits (internal and external).
  • Ensure the company's internal controls and policies are functional, adequate, and compliant with regulatory rules for project financials.
  • Perform financial and accounting-related activities.
  • Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness.
  • Ensure financial and accounting reports are prepared in accordance with company regulations.
  • Address financial issues and inquiries.
  • Prepare and review profit/loss (MCFR) to identify gaps and find relevant solutions.
  • Maintain accurate financial data and reports for submission to senior management and external customers.
  • Support contract and pricing negotiations for award, including compensation recommendations impact to projects and review of comp committee proposed increases.
  • Support requirements and approve management reductions and risk accounts.
  • Oversee PF Group support to Corporate functions (Accounting, Contracts, HR, Business Development, etc.).
  • Oversee PF Group support for Area Operation project financial needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
  • 5 years of government contracting experience.
  • General knowledge of SURVICE customers and industry.
  • Deltek Costpoint experience (strongly preferred).
  • SharePoint experience.
  • Project financial analysis experience.
  • History of producing quality and timely products.
  • Ability to undertake and resolve management issues through research, analysis, communication, and application of judgment.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Department of Defense organizations and contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation, writing, and team building.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR.

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and education.

Schedule

Hybrid work schedule (Belcamp, Maryland).

Travel: 5%
