Responsibilities

  • Support healthcare construction projects with heightened coordination, documentation, and quality requirements while ensuring work aligns with regulatory and client standards.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and documentation for healthcare projects.
  • Cook up with field teams, designers, consultants, and owner stakeholders.
  • Aid in schedule updates, work sequencing, and constraint removal.
  • Maintain cost tracking, change documentation, and closeout.
  • Keep professionalism and discipline in occupied/sensitive environments.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting complex projects with strong documentation control.
  • Ability to coordinate across many stakeholders and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client service.
  • Experience 3–7+ years supporting complex construction projects; healthcare/occupied environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating inspections and sensitivity requirements as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Tools & Software: Procore and Microsoft Office proficiency; experience with project controls/document tools preferred (e.g. Bluebeam, BIM coordination tools).
  • Specialized Project Experience: Healthcare / occupied or sensitive environments (hospitals, labs, clinical spaces); phased work and infection-control coordination as applicable.

Work Location, Environment & Travel Requirements

  • Office and active project site/jobsite trailer; may include work in occupied or sensitive environments where coordination and professionalism are critical.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and site walking required; work hours may vary by project and milestones.
  • This role may require shifts or extended hours depending on project demands, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Travel may be required based on project assignment.
  • Projects are primarily within the St. Louis region, with flexibility and readiness to support work outside the local market as Tarlton expands.
