About the Role
The Senior Project Engineer – Electrical designs safe, efficient, and sustainable electrical systems for community-focused buildings such as schools, libraries, and public safety facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from concept through construction.
- Develop systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and stakeholders to ensure code compliance and project success.
- Mentor junior staff and participate in client meetings.
- Support quality control, cost estimates, and construction support activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Knowledge of NEC, IBC, and IECC codes.
- Proficiency in Revit and electrical modeling tools (preferred).
