About the role
The Senior Project Engineer at Flare Division is responsible for leading complex project engineering tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the design, development, and implementation of flare systems and related equipment.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project scope, budget, and timeline to meet client expectations and project goals.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant project engineering experience.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Piping System Design Software (PSDS).
- Strong understanding of flare systems, process control, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
- Knowledge of international standards and best practices in flare system design.
Skills
- Fluency in English.
- Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Experience with project management software.
- Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.

Pay
$85,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
