Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer at Flare Division is responsible for leading complex project engineering tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the design, development, and implementation of flare systems and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project scope, budget, and timeline to meet client expectations and project goals.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Piping System Design Software (PSDS).
• Strong understanding of flare systems, process control, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices in flare system design.

Skills

• Fluency in English.
• Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience with project management software.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.

Pay

$85,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
