Responsibilities
- Lead multiple large or complex projects from buy-out through project closeout
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reporting
- Develop and maintain project schedules and recovery plans
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and coordination
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for owners and design partners
- Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and opportunities to the Project Executive
- Coach and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Support the implementation of company standards, processes, and best practices
- Partner with Superintendents to align field execution with project plans
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of progressive construction experience
- Demonstrated history of delivering large, complex, and high-profile projects, with little oversight
- Prior experience leading Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers
- Advanced financial leadership, forecasting, and margin management
- Sophisticated risk identification and mitigation strategies
- Strong relationship-building skills with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ability to lead through influence and set expectations across teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to shape and improve organizational practices and standards

Location
The Senior Project Manager will be exposed to the current weather and site conditions on each of their assigned project sites as well as a typical office environment. It is the responsibility of the Senior Project Manager to properly prepare for the specific working environment conditions that will be required of them each day. The Senior Project Manager will participate in company meetings and gatherings at the corporate offices, as well as meetings conducted on project site locations.
Site Conditions
Roers Companies treats the safety of its staff and subcontractors with the highest importance. Due to the nature of construction and trade activity on site, all employees may encounter hazards that could include but are not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat or cold temperatures, vibration, moving equipment, scaffolding, protected and unprotected openings under construction, odors, mists, gases, chemicals, electrical equipment, exposure to oils and other liquids, poorly ventilated areas that may require the use of a mask or respirator, CO2 and NO2, air pollutants, hot work to include torches and welding, open excavations, and other unknown conditions. Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and at no times will a Roers Companies employee, vendor, subcontractor, or project partner be required to work in an unsafe environment.
Pay
Pay Range: $145,500 - $180,700. Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
