Responsibilities
- Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Prepare RFIs and submittals
- Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
- Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
- Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
- Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
- Assist in other duties as assigned
This position is safety-sensitive.
Requirements
- At least 4–7 years’ experience managing construction projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word)
- Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying them
- Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently
- Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- Possesses critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
- Experience with metal stud framing and drywall, acoustical ceilings, exterior systems and cladding
- Experience managing specialty scopes of construction
- OSHA certification
- Local to Raleigh, NC
- Willing to travel or relocate based on project needs
