Responsibilities

  • Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Prepare RFIs and submittals
  • Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
  • Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
  • Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
  • Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

  • At least 4–7 years’ experience managing construction projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying them
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines
  • Possesses critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
  • Experience with metal stud framing and drywall, acoustical ceilings, exterior systems and cladding
  • Experience managing specialty scopes of construction
  • OSHA certification
  • Local to Raleigh, NC
  • Willing to travel or relocate based on project needs
