Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our project execution team. This role manages and oversees the technical aspects of multi-discipline execution teams and projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee technical execution for engineering and construction projects.
• Demonstrate exemplary communication and organizational skills.
• Understand, follow, and enforce SEP’s (Standard Execution Procedures).
• Ensure proper sign-off on all deliverables and spot-check for accuracy.
• Ensure deliverables are issued on schedule.
• Prepare change order requests and coordinate change order estimates at the direction of the Project Manager (PM).
• Review or create meeting minutes from project meetings.
• Responsible for project status reports.
• Manage project action item list, RFI list, close-out punch list, and other project documentation.
• Facilitate internal and external project meetings as required.
• Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) efforts.
• Develop and adjust project support team workflow processes.
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary communication.
• Resolve project audit deficiencies.
• Administer the development and issuance of project specifications.
• Resolve day-to-day project issues and emergencies.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (or higher) from an ABET-accredited institution preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including field construction experience.
• Experience in the onshore oil and gas industry (preferred) or in onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
• Experience as the lead engineer on medium and large multi-discipline projects.
• PMP certification and/or PE license recommended.
• Basic understanding of multi-discipline deliverables, procurement, and construction activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong team leadership capabilities.
