Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to work for our PMCM group on a major Community College capital improvement project in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.
  • Review and provide comments on contractor-prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
  • Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
  • Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
  • Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Coverage with campus stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to support successful delivery of capital improvement projects.
  • Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting educational, institutional, or public-sector capital projects is preferred.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Certifications with PMI or AACEI are also preferable.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs required.

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $130,000-$150,000 annually for this position and local market.
