Senior Project Civil or Transportation Engineer
Responsibilities
- Work on a major interstate highway road widening project.
- Spend approximately 70% of your time on-site during peak construction periods.
- Review project schedules and provide technical input to ensure production stays on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Procore items include, but are not limited to:
- Keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
- Manage and input all RFI’s, RFP’s, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions have been answered.
- Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents.
- Proven experience as a Civil or Transportation Engineer or similar role for 4+ years.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, and Bluebeam a plus.
- Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills are backed by solid technical knowledge.
- Versatile and service-oriented mindset.
- Good understanding of safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technically savvy and computer literate.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Experience: Civil or Transportation Engineer: 4+ years
- Preferred in Roadway, Highway or Heavy Civil General
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 5 years of experience in a field-related role in transportation, concrete construction, or heavy civil construction.
