About the Opportunity:The SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT role is pivotal in managing the financial aspects of projects, including invoicing, contract compliance, and collections. This position serves as a mentor to project accountants and a key partner to project managers, driving accuracy and efficiency in billing and financial forecasting. The role ensures financial integrity and supports the organization’s project profitability and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:Mentor and support Project Accountants in project setup and contract review using Deltek VantagepointManage a high volume of complex invoicing in collaboration with Project ManagersProactively address unbilled time and expenses and assist with accounts receivable tracking and collectionsTrain Project Managers on billing processes and support their onboardingNotarize documents and manage the Missing Rates toolAssist in Project Review Meetings and provide general accounting supportServe as the escalation point for billing and project accounting challengesParticipate in project forecasting and support Finance Leaders as needed Requirements:High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred8+ years of experience in high-volume billing or equivalent education and experienceProficient in Deltek Vantagepoint, Tableau, MS Office suite, and virtual meeting facilitationStrong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsEffective verbal, written, and presentation communication abilitiesExperience with contract administration, additional services management, and collections resolution Pay Range and Compensation Package:National Average Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000, depending on experience, qualifications, education, and locationAdditional compensation may include bonuses such as Long Term Incentive Plan, Short Term Incentive Plan, and Profit Sharing Benefits & Perks:401(K) plan with company matchFull health benefits including medical, dental, and visionWellness program with rewards for healthy activitiesPet insuranceOpportunities for career advancementPaid time off and holiday payPaid parental leaveFlexible work schedules and remote work options based on client needsProfessional development support and reimbursement for certifications and memberships Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
