Description

Position Overview: Provide resources and support for all maintenance, engineering, and production needs. Addressing equipment downtime, proper operation of equipment, and spare parts ordering, along with supporting the daily issues for the entire facility. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the facility's communication network devices, printers, and computers, helping to maintain the overall efficiency of the plant.

Requirements

  • Responsible for maintaining Lexington facility IT systems daily operations.
  • Supports the maintenance department with electrical and PLC programming needs.
  • Serves as a backup for the maintenance supervisor.
  • Maintains the facility's communication network devices, printers, and computers.
  • Supports the integration of new equipment from an electrical and PLC programming standpoint.
  • Designs and modifies equipment electrical systems.
  • Works with vendors to ensure desired electrical components are available.
  • Maintains the Lexington IT budget.
  • Manages electrical and programming projects.
  • Assists as the assistant administrator of the CMMS system (internal maintenance tracking system).

  • Knowledge of mining for information to solve issues during projects or implementations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various business materials and technical procedures.
  • Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective presentation skills to address groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Problem-solving abilities to handle practical issues and make decisions based on limited standards.
  • Ability to interpret figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Basic algebra and geometry knowledge.
  • Knowledge of VF drives, PLC controls, operator HMI screens, servo controls, etc.
  • Computer working knowledge, including database, design, development, manufacturing, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
