Senior Program Manager, Global Medical Affairs - Rare Disease & General Medicine

About the Role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager Global Medical Affairs - Rare Disease & General Medicine to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive coordination of insights with Medical Affairs Lead to inform product strategy
• Ensure execution of the Medical Plan with regular progress updates
• Align Medical Plan process across global, regional, and local leads
• Integrate Global Medical Strategy with other functions
• Document decisions and actions within the Global Medical Affairs Team
• Maintain integrated plans and identify interdependencies for key deliverables
• Implement standard methodologies to promote cross-functional alignment

Qualifications

• Doctorate and 2 years Project Management experience, or Master's and 4 years, or Bachelor's and 6 years, or Associate degree and 10 years, or High School/GED and 12 years
• 5+ years in project or program management, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotechnologies
• 8+ years of industry experience in relevant fields
• Experience in Global Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams
• Ability to track risks and manage project completion

Pay

$137,340 – $185,813 annually
