Senior Program Manager, Automation
About This Opportunity
As a Senior Program Manager, Automations, you will be responsible for leading large-scale enterprise automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer and employee experiences. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of automation programs across multiple business units, partnering with technology, operations, and product teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership experience within complex enterprise environments and has the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions. This role also requires strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to work with operational data using SQL or basic query languages to evaluate automation performance and drive data-informed decisions.
Location
Status: It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations. Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
We're Looking For Talent Who Has
- 5+ years of experience managing large enterprise programs or initiatives, preferably within automation, digital transformation, or operational transformation
- A proven track record delivering complex cross-functional initiatives in large organizations
- Experience working with automation technologies such as RPA, workflow automation, AI, or orchestration platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL or other query languages with the ability to retrieve and analyze operational data
- Strong analytical, program management, and stakeholder management skills
- Manages multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
- Experience with data visualization or BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries
- A PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
