Senior Program Manager, Architecture & Automation Deployment
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager, Architecture & Automation Deployment to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead cross-functional deployment programs that translate engineering input into scalable architecture and automation solutions. You will partner closely with engineering leadership, global divisional teams, and stakeholders in the company’s innovation organization to drive pilot-to-rollout execution. The position will also shape governance, reporting, and prioritization for AI-enabled capabilities and other engineering tools across the business. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Run structured voice-of-customer efforts with engineering teams to identify impactful tools and capabilities.
- Synthesize findings into deployment priorities while collaborating with engineering leadership.
- Own deployment programs for architecture implementation and AI capabilities from pilot to full rollout.
- Drive the systematization of tools to ensure they are repeatable and scalable across divisions.
- Lead program management for cross-divisional automation initiatives with a global innovation team.
- Maintain program governance and reporting to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
- Track program health and report on key decisions to senior stakeholders regularly.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of program or project management experience in R&D for hardware/instruments.
- Preferred background in systems engineering or hands-on experience in related processes.
- Experience with internal research efforts to gather voice-of-customer insights.
- Track record of managing engineering tool rollouts and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading programs across multiple divisions, including global teams.

Pay
Compensation: $179,931 – $315,300 annually
