Senior Program Manager, AI Programs

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager, AI Programs to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will shape the operating model for AI initiatives across the organization, ensuring governance, decision-making, and delivery discipline are aligned to business needs. The ideal candidate will coordinate execution across multiple teams, manage dependencies and risks, and help create a scalable framework for AI platforms and initiatives. This position will also partner closely with business stakeholders to drive consistent reporting, measurable delivery health, and business value in a fast-evolving technology environment.

Location & schedule

Remote — US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

$114,600 – $165,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program operating model for AI initiatives
• Facilitate governance, decision rights, and escalation paths
• Create a consistent operating rhythm across teams
• Develop a scalable framework for multiple AI platforms
• Coordinate execution of priorities and manage delivery risks
• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders
• Define metrics and reporting for delivery health and business value

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management, technical project management, product management, or a related field
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
• Preferred experience with AI, enterprise technology, digital transformation, or emerging technologies
• Strong judgment and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing AI landscape
