Sr. MMU Program Coordinator
The Market Monitoring Unit (MMU) Program Coordinator provides operational and facilitation support to Data Intelligence and Reporting, Policy and Analysis, Surveillance and Mitigation, and other MMU functions as assigned. This position serves as a primary liaison to MMU leadership, ensuring effective coordination, tracking, and execution of regulatory filings, working group comments, reporting obligations, project management and departmental initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership
- Identify, assess, and support business needs
- Develop structured plans of action to address operational challenges and improvement opportunities
- Initiative and Regulatory Comment Management
- Track departmental initiatives, regulatory filings, working group comments, and action items to ensure timely completion
- Monitor deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements
- Identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate, and support resolution efforts
- Facilitation & Communications
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings to review and prioritize initiatives and regulatory comments
- Develop clear and actionable plans to track tasks to resolution – establish milestones that allow sufficient time for review, editing, and approval prior to the due date
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across departments and organizational levels
- Operational Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Develop or support MMU initiatives designed to improve processes, transparency, and accountability
- Develop a working knowledge of functional areas to enhance cross-departmental collaboration
- Compliance & Policy Adherence
- Understand and comply with organizational policies, procedures, and governance requirements
- Support documentation and reporting activities aligned with regulatory and operational standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field
- 6 years relevant, progressively responsible professional experience
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 15%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the electric utility industry, Regional Transmission Organization (RTO), or other critical infrastructure environment
- Experience supporting operations, engineering, or technical business units
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks
