Senior Program Analyst Tasks and Duties
- Perform program and organizational analyses for assigned program areas.
- Aid program offices with the development and implementation of operational and information technology initiatives.
- Monitor program operations and usage to identify issues, recommend resolutions, and improve efficiencies.
- Interpret existing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to program operations.
- Analyze program resource requests and staffing requirements.
- Prepare reports, memoranda, briefing papers, presentations, and executive correspondence.
- Absorb and develop documentation, revision, and program processes and procedures.
- Enter, retrieve, maintain, and analyze data within program databases and tracking systems.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports related to operational and program activities.
- Process incoming inquiries, documentation, and program-related requests.
- Collect, compile, and report operational metrics and program accomplishments.
- Cook up with internal and external stakeholders regarding program activities and requirements.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Senior Program Analyst Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation.
- Must have at least five years of specialized experience related to program analysis, operations support, project coordination, or federal program management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change.
- Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
- Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts is preferred.
Pay
This position offers a target hourly pay range of $35.00/hr to $38.00/hr based on experience, qualifications, and contract alignment.
