Senior Professional Engineer - Drainage

Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Professional Engineer - Drainage at Horrocks, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the design and implementation of drainage systems for various projects.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conducting site visits and field inspections to assess drainage conditions and propose improvements.
• Developing detailed engineering drawings and reports to support project documentation.
• Overseeing the construction phase of drainage projects to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience, with at least 5 years in drainage engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the applicable state(s).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling software and proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
