Senior Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, orientation, training, and team member development for employees on multiple product lines.
• Develop people; improve processes; reduce costs; quality monitoring and improvements; and meet on-time delivery.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure manufacturing requirements are met while minimizing costs.
• Plan departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure manufacturing team enforce Company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety policies, and employee rules of conduct.
• Interview, hire, train, terminate, discipline, and coach employees.
• Able to motivate employees to achieve results.

Qualifications

• Three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with previous multi-line responsibility.
• Prior experience in improving operational processes and LEAN methodology.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
