Responsibilities

  • Affords responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of all engineering related functions
  • Serves as a supervisor for contractors during project execution
  • Manages project costs and project timelines, ensuring safe and clean project execution
  • Develops and implements project schedules that consider production needs
  • Coordinates equipment installations
  • Manages CAPEX budget and individual project budgets
  • Improves plant equipment capabilities
  • Collaborates with maintenance and production teams to enhance equipment performance
  • Uses root cause analysis to minimize downtime and waste in plant operations
  • Maintains and adheres to company safety standards
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work area
  • Supports plant and company key performance indicators, ensuring budgets and operational objectives are met
  • Orders all capital equipment and owns the assets and registry
  • Owns OEM commissioning and punch list activity
  • Builds relationships with external vendors, city officials (permitting), and design groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 8 years relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of engineering specifications, including electrical, plumbing, water handling, mechanical, automation, and others
  • Technical knowledge of all city/state requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards in a beverage environment
  • Knowledge of SAP module for purchase orders
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and food safety requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors/projects
