Senior Production Engineer

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly LNG production plans aligned with feed gas supply, LNG storage and shipping.
• Optimize LNG output to reduce flaring and energy use.
• Track and report production losses, downtime, and operational derates.
• Maintain Loss Accounting System (LAS) and report revenue impacts to accounting.
• Develop site-wide energy balances and monitor energy KPIs.
• Identify efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare production forecasts and validate against custody transfer data.
• Submit monthly and quarterly reports to accounting and leadership.
• Cook up with control room, field ops, shipping, and maintenance planning.
• Adjust schedules during equipment restrictions, weather, and supply changes.
• Track the facility Chemical and Refrigerant requirements, by utilizing appropriate measures and tools to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the facility.
• Develop and update procedures and startup/shutdown plans.
• Align production plans with environmental permit limits on flaring, fuel, and emissions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years Petrochemical, Refining, Oil & Gas/LNG Operations; 5+ years LNG Production Engineer.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Able to work with a culturally diverse group of technical individuals, possess the ability to relate to and to establish a mutually respectful relationship with management, peers and the various facility level workers, organized, planning skills, able to manage multiple activities and programs in timely fashion and with a high degree of accuracy, able to meet work deadlines, exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, analytical thinking and ability to utilize concise data and information while working through problems and implementing solutions, strong ability to implement best practices for Production Engineering, Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, Visio to convey information with clarity through presentations and reports, ability to manage multiple and complex issues and work independently, proven personal characteristics of integrity, accountability, and dependability, ability to apply strong written and oral communication skills while presenting and participating in discussions with internal and external stakeholders, thorough understanding of LNG Process, maintenance, environmental, regulations, and associated codes and standards, general knowledge of computer applications like PiVision, DCS systems, SCADA and ability to work with automated applications, organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
