Senior Product Owner

As a Sr Product Owner, you are charged with leading multiple scrum teams to deliver critical, complex and strategic outcomes. The Sr Product Owner will work closely with Product Manager and other Product Owners to enable the success of the Program and HF by helping develop achievable well thought out product roadmaps for your team(s). Duties & Responsibilities Partnership with product manager and AVP to develop product vision and delivery roadmap for team; prioritizationCreate and refine Epics, Features and User stories for team to deliverInfluences key stakeholders and senior leadership and secures buy in to opportunities reflected on the product roadmapCommunicate outcomes, risks and dependencies clearly and on time to support impediment resolution and ensure quality deliveryProvide mentorship to other Product OwnersUnderstanding the business they supportBe responsible for conveying business outcomes and need to scrum teamAdditional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications More than two years’ experience working in an agile development environment as a Product Owner running a complex team focused on strategic initiativesProven ability to lead a team through the development of complex ideas, influence with and without authority, challenge the status quo, and support an environment of collaboration and continuous improvementExperience in understanding and translating vague business requirements into written Epics, Features and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria and tied to business outcomesExperience in developing product vision and roadmapsExperience defining and quantifying business value associated to improvement opportunities; leveraging the information to drive a business caseUnderstanding and proven experience with Agile practices and expectationsExperience in delivering complex and strategic solutions from requirements understanding all the way through change management and achievement of quantitative business valueMust be a strategic thinker but able to execute at a tactical levelExperience in communicating risks and dependencies clearly with all impacted parties Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionExcellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to nontechnical audiences at multiple organizational levels internally and externallyStrong experimental mindset to drive innovation amongst uncertaintySAFE Certification as a POExperience in mentoring other product ownersStrong team work, interpersonal and relationship building skillsStrong leadership qualities, organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to effectively manage issues and complex situations Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $138,900 - $212,500All Other Locations (within approved locations): $118,100 - $180,710 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
