About the role

It’s an incredibly exciting time to work in energy. Join us on our mission to improve the lives of ONE BILLION humans within the decade and shape a cleaner, better future for everyone.

Working in Marketing at Kraken means being close to the business, our customers, and the market. You’ll help translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messaging; create campaigns that drive awareness and action; and partner closely with teams across the organisation to bring our mission to life. We’re looking for people who combine creativity with commercial thinking, strong execution, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

    • Partner with Product, Sales and Customer Success to develop commercialization plans, and to ensure successful launches and market adoption.
    • Drive analyst engagement, customer references and thought leadership to build awareness and adoption in the US market.
  • Be the voice of the market:
    • Synthesize customer feedback from sales, customer success and other channels, and market research into actionable insights.
    • Bring an outside-in perspective to product and commercial planning.
    • Influence roadmap and GTM decisions through customer and market intelligence.
    • Own the competitive intelligence motion, tracking competitor propositions, market moves, customer needs, pricing signals and regulatory developments.
    • Run win/loss analysis in partnership with sales and product, and synthesize learnings into clear recommendations for positioning, product priorities and commercial strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in Product Marketing, Commercial Strategy, GTM Strategy, Product Management or Management Consulting.
  • Experience defining go-to-market strategies for enterprise software or technology products.
  • Background in utilities, demand response and flexibility programs, at least across one of the categories: Edge DERMS and/or Grid DERMS. Experience in both—an advantage.
  • We're looking for someone who enjoys ambiguity, thinks strategically and is motivated by solving commercial challenges.

Studies have shown that some groups of people, like women, are less likely to apply to a role unless they meet 100% of the job requirements. Whoever you are, if you like one of our jobs, we encourage you to apply as you might just be the candidate we’re looking for!

Applicants must have the right to work in the country they're applying to at the time of application; Kraken is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
