Senior Product Manager, Validation Services
About the role
The Senior Product Manager, Validation Services is responsible for shaping the global services portfolio that helps life-sciences customers generate the evidence needed to adopt and use Cytiva Filtration solutions with confidence. This position reports to the Senior Director, Filtration Customer Success Portfolio, and is part of the Filtration Customer Success team located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This will be an onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Generate customer and market evidence: lead voice-of-customer research, workflow observation, win/loss analysis, usage analysis, and market assessment across regions; convert the findings into recommendations that improve adoption and confident use of Cytiva Filtration solutions
- Set portfolio strategy and lifecycle priorities: Develop the roadmap, size and compare opportunities, and recommend where to invest, test, scale, maintain, partner, defer, or retire offerings so resources are focused on the highest-value customer and business needs.
- Translate customer needs and technical capabilities into differentiated offers: Define value propositions, service packages, positioning, launch plans, and commercial tools that support Validation Services adoption and value creation across the broader Filtration portfolio.
- Own business cases and portfolio economics: Develop forecasts and recommendations for pricing, packaging, discounts, and free-of-charge service decisions while evaluating customer value, revenue, margin, cost-to-serve, capacity, quality, and resource trade-offs.
- Drive cross-functional execution and continuous improvement: Work with commercial, operations, project management, quality, R&D, finance, Filtration product management, and customer-facing technical teams to establish milestones, owners, risks, dependencies, and performance measures that protect claims, timelines, customer commitments, and sustained improvement through DBS/Lean methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, product marketing, or adjacent commercial roles, including at least 7 years with direct product-management accountability for strategy, lifecycle management, commercializtaion, and business performance.
- Experience leading product-line or portfolio strategy and lifecycle management for complex technical products or services, including opportunity assessment, roadmap development, commercialization, optimization, and retirement.
- Experience developing business cases, forecasts, value propositions, and pricing or packaging recommendations using revenue, margin, cost-to-servce, capacity, or resource trade-off analysis.
- Experience leading global cross-functional initiatives with commercial, technical, operational, finance, and quality stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel.
Skills
- Life sciences, bioprocessing, filtration, validation, regulated services, or another technically complex and quality-sensitive environment.
- Building and scaling a global service or combined product-and-service offering through development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
- Applying the Danaher Business System, Lean, or comparable continuous-improvement methods, including direct observation of work, structured problem solving, standard work, and visual project management.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $127,500 - $195,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
Schedule
This is an onsite role.
