AWS Life Sciences Applied AI is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical to lead the development of AI-driven applications that reimagine the experiences of life sciences researchers. In this role, you will pioneer product development for generative AI agent-based experiences in protein design and antibody engineering, integrate computational design pipelines with laboratory workflows, and drive innovation at a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define novel, generative AI agent-based experiences to accelerate drug discovery for life sciences researchers.
  • Drive innovation by integrating computational design pipelines with laboratory workflows.
  • Create efficient systems for rational therapeutic design.
  • Define key product directions, adopt or invent new machine learning techniques, and reimagine user workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable end-user products.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working as a Technical Product Manager.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through go-to-market (GTM).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of protein structure prediction and design tools (e.g., AlphaFold, RFDiffusion, ProteinMPNN).
  • Experience with drug discovery workflows and therapeutic development processes, particularly in antibody development.
  • Track record of successful product launches leveraging ML/AI technologies.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to discussions around computational biology.
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear product requirements and user experiences.

Pay

Base salary range: $167,400 – $226,500 USD annually (Seattle, WA). Your total compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
