Senior Product Manager, Shopping Experiences
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
About the role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager for Shopping Experiences (Direct to Consumer) to launch and scale Affirm's DTC shopping and offers experience. In this role, you’ll identify high-impact growth opportunities, validate them through rapid experimentation, and bring them to market at scale. You’ll play a critical role in shaping high-impact consumer journeys, App and Web checkout experiences, consumer shopping preferences, and Offers to customers—directly influencing conversion, engagement, and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the Shopping Experiences roadmap for new growth channels, setting clear hypotheses, success metrics, and sequencing.
- Launch and scale checkout flows, offers in app and web, and consumer shopping preferences across app and web, partnering closely with Engineering and Design to deliver seamless, high-conversion onboarding experiences.
- Design and execute acquisition programs (e.g., referrals, exploratory partner pilots) with measurable CAC→LTV impact.
- Own funnel performance end-to-end: track weekly acquisitions, 30-day activation, drop-offs by step, and implement robust incrementality testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and the Card Foundations team to align dependencies and ensure safe, scalable growth.
- Continuously experiment and iterate to unlock new conversion levers, maximize engagement, and expand card and consumer usage.
Requirements
- 4+ years in Product Management; ideally with previous background owning growth/distribution channels.
- Track record shipping consumer financial or regulated products; comfort partnering with Risk/Credit, Legal, and Compliance.
- Deep fluency in experiment design, incrementality/attribution, and CAC→LTV optimization.
- Strong UX instincts for moment-of-intent surfaces; ability to work across web, app, and partner integrations.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and others to research, analyze, visualize experiences, and help develop better product vision.
- Data chops (SQL/Amplitude-level self-serve) and a bias for shipping, learning, and iterating quickly.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership; experience leading embedded engineering/design pods.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
