Senior Product Manager, PBM Platform

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager, PBM Platform to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will own the vision, roadmap, and execution for a complex claims adjudication platform within a highly regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep product management experience and the ability to translate operational needs, technical requirements, and compliance considerations into scalable platform strategy. You will partner closely with engineering, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive system transitions, production readiness, and smooth go-live outcomes. You will also help define long-term direction for rules-driven transaction processing while ensuring the platform can support growth, accuracy, and reliability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for claims adjudication, ensuring scalability and adaptability
• Develop deep expertise in pharmacy claims adjudication and create a structured plan based on that
• Define long-term strategies aligning with operational growth and regulatory requirements
• Craft clear specifications and user stories for engineering and QA teams in an agile setting
• Collaborate daily with engineering to prioritize work and quickly address claim behavior uncertainties
• Establish standards for correctness and oversee testing and certification for production readiness
• Coordinate go-live preparations, ensuring smooth transitions without impacting member services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare or enterprise technology
• Experience with claims adjudication or similar rules-driven transaction processing systems
• Demonstrated experience leading platform migrations or significant system transitions
• Strong capability to manage cross-functional initiatives across various departments
• Proficient in working independently and executing with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical teams
• Detail-oriented and focused on processes, especially in high-stakes environments

Pay

Compensation: $150,000 – $195,000 annually
