Senior Product Manager - CoreAI

About the role

Azure Logic Apps, part of CoreAI, is Microsoft's enterprise integration platform powering mission-critical workflows for thousands of organizations connecting SaaS, on-premises systems, APIs, and AI services. As a Senior Product Manager in CoreAI, you'll own a strategic area of the product and shape how enterprises modernize integration in the era of AI agents and event-driven architectures. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone deeply experienced in the integration space, having lived through the on-prem-to-cloud transition and understanding the importance of idempotency, correlation, and dead-letter handling. You'll engage in deep architecture conversations with Fortune 500 enterprise architects.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy for a major area of Logic Apps (e.g., runtime, connectors, B2B/EDI, hybrid, or AI-powered integration).
• Define roadmaps, make build/buy/partner decisions, and align engineering, design, and GTM (Go To Market) teams.
• Drive customer outcomes by engaging with enterprise customers, ISVs, and SIs to turn integration pain points into shipped product.
• Set the technical bar by writing specs that engineers respect and making crisp tradeoffs on latency, throughput, durability, security, and cost.
• Shape the integration category externally through keynotes, analyst briefings (Gartner iPaaS MQ, Forrester Wave), customer advisory boards, and the integration community.
• Partner across Microsoft teams (Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Fabric, and Microsoft Foundry) to deliver integrated experiences customers need.

Requirements

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Qualifications

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years shipping integration, iPaaS, ESB, API, or workflow products at scale.
• Hands-on understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including messaging, orchestration, choreography, compensation, idempotency, exactly-once semantics, schema evolution, and B2B protocols (EDI, AS2, X12, EDIFACT).
• Demonstrated ability to ship complex distributed systems products to enterprise customers and drive adoption.
• Technical fluency: ability to read code, debug a workflow run, reason about a Kusto query, and design an API without an engineer in the room.
• Excellent written communication, including specs, customer narratives, and strategy docs that are widely shared.
• Experience with Azure or a major cloud's integration stack (Logic Apps, N8N, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
• Background working with regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector) where integration is mission-critical.
• Experience launching AI-powered or agent-based product capabilities.
• Public presence in the integration community through talks, blogs, OSS contributions, or MVP relationships.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. A different range applies to specific work locations, including the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, where the base pay range is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
