Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy for content discovery, including brand hubs, topic pages, vertical navigation, and content taxonomy
- Define and prioritize a roadmap grounded in audience data, editorial goals, and business objectives
- Translate ambiguous editorial and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve how audiences find and engage with content across FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Radio and OutKick experiences
- Lead the design and evolution of content taxonomy, metadata standards, and tagging frameworks that power discovery experiences
- Partner with editorial to define how brand and vertical hubs are structured, curated, and maintained
- Develop a coherent navigation structure that balances editorial control with scalable content organization
- Evaluate and improve navigational surfaces — menus, hubs, topic pages, related content — through user research and experimentation
- Serve as the connective tissue between editorial, engineering, design, and SEO teams on all content discovery workstreams
- Write clear, detailed PRDs and user stories that give engineering teams what they need to build with confidence
- Own sprint ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
- Drive sprint-level execution, unblocking dependencies and maintaining delivery momentum
- Contribute to SEO strategy as it relates to content discoverability and page architecture
- Define success metrics for content discovery features
- Partner with data and analytics teams to instrument features, build dashboards, and generate actionable insights
- Use experimentation (A/B testing) to validate product decisions and iterate with rigor
- Actively uses AI agents as a core part of daily product workflows
- Applies AI to research, synthesis, and analysis, including competitive research, user behavior pattern recognition, and data summarization
- Leverages AI for PRD drafting, user story creation, and sprint preparation
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of owning complex, audience-facing product areas
- Deep experience in content discovery, information architecture, content taxonomy, or navigational product design
- Strong understanding of how metadata, tagging, and content structure affect both user experience and search/SEO performance
- Fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day product workflow, with a demonstrated habit of reaching for these tools to move faster and think more rigorously
- Comfort operating in a content-rich, editorially-driven environment
- Experience using data and experimentation to drive product decisions; fluency with analytics tools and A/B testing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can present a roadmap to leadership and facilitate alignment across opinionated stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently on a lean team, managing multiple workstreams without close supervision
Qualifications
- Nice to have, but not a dealbreaker:
- Experience at a digital media, news, or publishing company
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and editorial publishing workflows
- Experience with personalization or recommendation systems that inform content surfacing
- Track record improving audience engagement metrics
- Experience using AI agents or automated workflows to accelerate product work
- Exposure to SEO strategy and how content architecture decisions affect organic discovery
