Senior Product Manager - Consumer Credit Card

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Consumer Credit Card to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own the strategy and execution for a consumer credit card offering, from early concept through launch and ongoing optimization. The position will focus on creating a compelling market proposition, improving the application and approval experience, and ensuring the product delivers a strong customer experience. It will partner closely with engineering, design, compliance, and other cross-functional teams to bring a high-quality financial product to market. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Define and launch a consumer credit card that stands out in the market
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept through compliance and launch
• Streamline the application and approval process for maximum efficiency
• Manage the customer experience related to credit line adjustments
• Develop and communicate the value proposition for rewards and pricing
• Ensure high-quality product details and user experience
• Leverage AI to enhance customer interactions and problem-solving
• Maintain accuracy in financial reporting and customer statements
• Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies
• Coordinate efforts across engineering, design, and compliance teams

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in consumer product management, particularly in financial services
• Proven track record of launching successful consumer products
• Strong understanding of credit metrics and financial regulations
• Experience with AI-driven product features and their implications
• Exceptional collaboration skills across multiple functions
• High standards for product quality and user experience
• Familiarity with card issuing, lending, or payments is a plus

Pay

Compensation: $200,700 – $250,900 annually
