Senior Product Manager - Collision
About the Role
OEC provides software solutions to professionals in the automotive parts and repair industry, making it easier to buy and sell parts, conduct repair research and planning, optimize estimates, and improve the parts supply chain. This role identifies new, innovative initiatives for the Collision Multi-Shop Operator (MSO) team to help drive existing and new product offerings in the market.
Responsibilities
- Leads market research for the Collision MSO team, including customer surveys, competitive analysis, and debriefs to inform the product roadmap.
- Performs discovery with customers and stakeholders to understand marketplace needs and support prioritization activities.
- Uses data to develop high-quality insights into customer user experience and needs.
- Helps define the Collision MSO product strategy based on market input and Voice of the Customer (VoC), aligning with overall strategic direction.
- Collaborates with customer-facing teams to enable sales, implementation, and support of the product.
- Develops and manages relationships with automotive stakeholders, including multi-shop collision repairers, OEMs, dealer groups, and third parties.
- Develops a marketplace/ecommerce product strategy covering catalog, pricing, search/discovery, transaction workflows, platform capabilities, and modernization.
- Creates and maintains collaborative relationships with stakeholders to deepen business understanding and iterate on product strategy.
- Builds and grooms a prioritized product backlog, leading negotiation and trade-off discussions with key partners.
- Leads Product Management and Engineering teams toward the right priorities and sets clear expectations for projects and product launches.
- Writes excellent user-stories with thoughtful acceptance criteria for engineering features.
- Partners with the UX team to develop stories that optimize customer experience based on research and feedback.
- Defines and tracks key product and business metrics (e.g., adoption, conversion, retention, transaction volume/GMV, TCOR) to measure impact and inform roadmap prioritization.
- Evaluates and applies AI-driven capabilities (e.g., automated matching, dynamic pricing, predictive analytics) to strengthen product strategy and deliver customer value.
- Leads go-to-market planning and sales enablement for new Collision initiatives and measures post-launch impact.
- Works closely with engineering teams to design, schedule, and deliver in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing technology, product management, or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, coupled with 6 or more years in technology/Software as a Service (SaaS).

- Engaging presentation skills for various audience sizes and types.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a self-starter mentality.
- Experience with go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and measuring post-launch impact.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive action without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience mentoring or informally leading other product managers or cross-functional team members.
- Experience presenting product strategy or business cases to executive leadership.
- Experience scaling or growing a B2B marketplace or ecommerce platform.
- Experience in the collision parts procurement industry and/or with multi-shop collision repair centers.
Schedule
Travel for this position is required and anticipated to be up to 20% of the time (approximately 1 to 2 days each month).
