About the Role
As we scale our RB Marketplace business, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead execution of the Buyer Services business. This strategic role focuses on driving the attach rate for growth of all buyer services. You will act as the primary product architect of execution and tactics, ensuring every transaction includes a service attach. The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams, emphasizing speed and collaboration, and leveraging AI tooling to remove friction or manual toil.
Responsibilities
- Define MVPs and drive them to production, not just pilot phases
- Drive and influence the product roadmap for buyer platform consolidation across Finance, Shipping, and Warranties as the near-term focus within all buyer services
- Identify workflows, both internal and buyer-facing, where AI can meaningfully increase speed or reduce manual effort, and turn those into shipped features
- Drive velocity as the default posture: maintain current processes where they work, propose and implement faster paths where they slow the platform down, including AI-assisted alternatives
- Build and maintain evaluation methods to track quality, reliability, and safety
- Make decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving situations; run lightweight postmortems and feed learnings back into the roadmap
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in product management, or equivalent experience shipping software products
- Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML-powered or agentic features into production, not just prototypes
- Comfort working directly with engineering on technical architecture decisions (APIs, microservices, data pipelines); ability to hold your own in technical conversations without needing to write production code
- Track record of building your own proof of concepts; ability to communicate ideas effectively
- Demonstrated ability to earn buy-in from established teams and influence without direct authority
- Preferred: Experience with AWS Bedrock or comparable LLM agent infrastructure, and familiarity with tool-calling / MCP-style architectures
- Preferred: Background in marketplace, auction, freight/logistics, or B2B transactional platforms
- Preferred: Working knowledge of SQL and enough Python/JavaScript to read and sanity-check technical proposals
What Success Looks Like in the First 3 Months
- Clear, documented, and prioritized consolidation plan that stakeholders have bought into
- Delivery of at least one feature (Agentic or manual) in production with key metrics associated
- Demonstrated velocity increase in shipping a set of features
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Basic life insurance
- 401k plan with 100% company match for the first 4% contributed
- 15 days of PTO each year
