Senior Product Manager
Job Summary
OpenAssets is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across our institutional digital asset and financial infrastructure platform.
About the Role
This role is designed for a senior product leader who can operate across market strategy, product definition, client requirements, technical execution, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, financial markets knowledge, product discipline, and the ability to turn complex institutional opportunities into scalable, commercially relevant products.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, roadmap definition, and execution across key institutional product initiatives.
- Translate market opportunities, institutional client needs, regulatory considerations, and technical capabilities into clear product direction.
- Partner with Engineering to define product requirements, architecture considerations, delivery priorities, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and leadership to ensure product initiatives are aligned, commercially relevant, and execution-ready.
- Support institutional client and partner engagements by helping frame product solutions, clarify requirements, and communicate OpenAssets’ capabilities.
- Develop executive-ready product materials, strategy briefs, client-facing documentation, internal updates, and product decision frameworks.
- Conduct market, competitor, and ecosystem research to identify product opportunities across financial infrastructure, tokenization, digital currencies, and emerging capital markets.
- Establish clear product processes, documentation standards, prioritization discipline, and operating rhythms as OpenAssets scales its product organization.
- Drive accountability across complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch and post-launch iteration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years in product management or strategy within fintech, capital markets, or financial infrastructure sectors.
- Deep expertise in capital markets, covering tokenization, ETFs, fixed income, and institutional workflows.
- Proven track record at institutional platforms, asset managers, or market infrastructure firms.
- Skill in bridging strategic goals with technical requirements, navigating regulatory and engineering constraints.
- Technical proficiency in blockchain architecture and smart contracts to guide high-level product design.
- Preference for experience with ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-4626), oracles, and digital asset custody models.
- Competence in using AI tools, specifically Claude, to optimize documentation and research workflows.
- Strong communication skills for engaging institutional clients and explaining complex technical concepts.
- Established professional network within US financial and crypto-native institutional ecosystems.
- Prior tokenization, DLT, or digital asset infrastructure exposure
- Quality discipline or functional verification experience
- Direct relationships with custodians, transfer agents, asset managers, or institutional tokenization teams
- Experience with regulated structured products (Reg S, Reg D, 40 Act funds, structured notes)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in business, technology, or related field.
- Experience with financial products and services, including but not limited to tokens, digital assets, and structured products.
- Understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
