About Bluebeam
Bluebeam creates smart software solutions that make construction sites more efficient, connected, and safe, improving the lives of design and construction professionals worldwide. The company plays a crucial role in the industry’s rapid technology adoption, serving over 3 million users globally and partnering with top AEC firms in the United States and offices in Sweden, Germany, and the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Own the roadmap for a defined platform area end‑to‑end, from problem framing through release and adoption measurement, and defend the rationale behind every item.
- Identify the most impactful problems to solve, including foundational platform work not immediately visible to customers, and make the case for investment with evidence.
- Define requirements for shared identity, entitlement, and access services so licensing, session, and permission behavior is consistent and enforceable across Revu, web, and mobile.
- Advance the security posture of the owned area, partnering with security and engineering on permission models, access controls, and remediation while weighing customer impact against risk.
- Lead the extraction of shared capabilities from individual applications into centrally governed services, ensuring predictable permissions and access controls portfolio‑wide.
- Build the administrative and account‑management workflows enterprise customers depend on to deploy, govern, and secure Bluebeam at scale, improving adoption, conversion, and retention in support of Bluebeam Max.
- Establish strategic plays that strengthen enterprise and customer admin workflows through new innovation and AI capabilities, defining expected behavior, failure modes, and controls admins need.
- Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on without rework, including edge cases and often‑missed segments.
- Balance feature delivery against technical and foundational investment, pushing back with clear rationale on requests that do not fit the strategy.
- Partner daily with engineering and design in an Agile/Scrum environment, co‑owning delivery accountability with the engineering manager and prioritizing features, bugs, and technical debt.
- Own the reporting and insight capabilities within the area, defining how product, subscription, and usage data reaches internal teams and customers who depend on it.
- Analyze product usage data to size problems, prioritize work, recognize patterns in customer behavior, and evaluate whether shipped work achieved its intended outcome.
- Anticipate delivery and platform risks before they become escalations, sequencing cross‑team dependencies early rather than absorbing them late.
- Conduct customer interviews and validation sessions, synthesizing feedback into themes and recommendations rather than raw notes.
- Represent the area in cross‑functional and leadership forums without preparation support, communicating strategy and context proactively to the team and leadership.
- Define and help deliver go‑to‑market elements required to roll out owned capabilities, including release notes, demos, and internal enablement materials.
- Mentor product managers and associate product managers, bringing relevant industry, competitive, and AI technology trends back into product direction.
