Responsibilities
- Shape and communicate product requirements and workflows across Business, Quantitative, and Technology stakeholders.
- Owning functional specifications (use cases, activity diagrams, UI schematics, business rules, process flows).
- Translate high-level needs and prototypes into implementable solutions aligned with risk workflows and data-driven systems.
- Contribute to roadmap discussions and prioritization through structured analysis and crisp problem definitions.
- Define requirements for internal tooling (dashboards, validation utilities, workflow enhancements).
- Align functional requirements with technical ecosystems (APIs/microservices, event streaming, data integrations).
- Support quality outcomes through documentation reviews, release readiness, testing support, and operational handoffs.
- Use SQL/Python/Excel/R and AI tools to interrogate data and validate assumptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Systems Analysis within trading/banking/clearing; experience with derivative instruments a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to interpret quantitative methods and mathematical documentation.
- Data analysis skills and familiarity with Oracle SQL or other database tools; working knowledge of Python, Excel, and R or similar.
- Technical fluency for collaboration; experience working with service-based architectures, event-driven systems, containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern UI/server-side technologies.
