Senior Product Manager
At Grubhub, we believe food is more than just a meal: It’s a source of discovery, connection, and pure enjoyment. There’s a time and place for every type of dish, from hidden neighborhood gems to tried-and-true favorites, and we exist to connect people with the food they love in all the ways they like to dig in. We’ve been at it since 2004, but now, as part of Wonder, Grubhub is operating with a renewed sense of momentum and the high-velocity energy of a powerhouse startup. As a leading U.S. ordering and delivery marketplace, we feature over 415,000 merchants in more than 4,000 cities, creating the ultimate food experience by elevating online ordering through innovative restaurant technology, easy-to-use platforms, and an improved delivery experience. We are constantly finding new ways to innovate—from integrated grocery delivery with groceries powered by Instacart to exclusive loyalty programs.
About the Role
Grubhub is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own strategy and execution for a high-impact area of our business. You'll own a defined product surface end-to-end — from problem discovery through roadmap, execution, and measurable impact — partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and deliver outcomes that matter to our users and the business.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive product strategy, vision, and roadmap for your product area, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and user needs
- Identify and size opportunities, pain points, or sources of friction, and build the case for addressing them
- Balance near-term fixes that deliver quick wins with foundational investments that prevent recurring problems at scale
- Synthesize input from stakeholders, users, and data into clear, prioritized roadmaps
- Product Development & Execution
- Lead initiatives from discovery through implementation, testing, and ongoing management
- Work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners to define requirements, user stories, and deliver impactful products
- Own your product surface end-to-end, understanding tradeoffs and dependencies across systems and teams
- Manage technical and business dependencies across stakeholders
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design/UXR, data, and business partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal (and, where applicable, external) stakeholders, acting as a primary PM voice for your domain
- Communicate complex technical and operational concepts clearly to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Define and track KPIs that measure the health and impact of your product area
- Use data to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes
- Build dashboards and run experiments to optimize performance
- Establish feedback loops with partner teams to surface and triage emerging issues quickly
Requirements
- 3-4 years of relevant product management experience in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy and execute against a roadmap, with measurable before/after outcomes
- Data fluency and demonstrated data-driven decision making, including experience with SQL, dashboards, and A/B testing
- Technical acumen, including familiarity with APIs and system architecture; ability to work closely with engineers on complex systems and communicate technical specifications clearly
- Experience collaborating across technology, operations, and business teams
- Ownership mentality with a track record of high-quality execution and the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create clarity through strong written and verbal communication
- Experience in food delivery, restaurant technology, or two-sided marketplace platforms is a plus
Schedule
Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.
