About the role
As the Product Manager for the commerce platform, you will identify opportunities, develop the product roadmap, and deliver capabilities to drive customer satisfaction and maximize revenue generation. This role requires discovering and analyzing customer pain points and opportunities, then synthesizing them into clear product requirements and roadmaps. You will shape Docusign's commerce platform, focusing on how customers try, buy, and manage their subscriptions with Docusign to drive the next chapter of growth. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management, Commerce Platform.
Responsibilities
- Define commerce capabilities that enable customers to self-serve, try, buy, and manage their subscription.
- Drive new customer acquisition, expansion, and retention across all commerce channels.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals and OKRs.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact and available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, engineering, design, and sales, to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Document clear requirements and use cases for UX and Engineering teams, driving product initiatives from concept to launch.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data insights, along with industry best practices, to prioritize opportunities across Docusign's customer journey.
- Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Monitor KPIs related to revenue, conversion, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Design, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in digital product management.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with UX, Engineering, and Testing teams.
- Experience driving complex projects across large, cross-functional organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/MA.
- Familiarity with the product-led growth customer journey for SaaS and commercial models of leading SaaS products.
- Ability to incorporate industry best practices into product requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of team members and executives.
- Ability to lead through influence across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify insights, and inform product decisions with a bias toward scalable solutions.
- Comfortable working across disciplines and managing details.
- AI-fluency, including using LLMs and agents as a force multiplier.
Schedule
Hybrid: Employee divides time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office (frequency may vary by team). Access to an office location is required.
Pay
Pay for this position varies based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The following pay range applies to California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary.
This role is also eligible for the following bonuses:
- Sales personnel: Variable incentive pay based on achievement of pre-established sales goals.
- Non-Sales roles: Company bonus plan calculated as a percentage of eligible wages, dependent on company performance.
This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
