Senior Product Line Manager 1, Global Footwear - Run
About the role
The Senior Product Line Manager 1, Global Footwear - Run, plays a lead role in defining the future of Arc’teryx’s footwear strategy. This role involves translating athlete insights into products that meet the needs of the guest, elevating brand positioning, and delivering financial and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive and champion the end-to-end global footwear product vision, contributing to the strategic direction and leading the product creation process to deliver excellence in product and team.
- Contribute to the future vision for product through a robust innovation agenda and 5-year product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Craft, drive, and broadcast product briefs for each new product that aligns with the category strategy, seasonal story-telling focus, and brand vision, in strong collaboration with design, development, and merchandising.
- Lead the cross-functional product creation process from concept through to guest, through sharing your expert knowledge of product, the athlete, and guest needs.
- Simplify product complexity and interdependency, synthesizing diverse perspectives to deliver the best product for the guest.
- Manage key product KPIs, design and production costs relative to the market and guest value proposition.
- Ensure product delivers on each stage gate and date, with uncompromised quality and excellence, on time and on budget.
- Manage the creation of all communication tools across the product creation process milestones for every footwear moment, stage gate, and supporting the footwear leadership team in all key events.
- Lead and execute sample management excellence, within the office, storage rooms, in Vancouver, for every footwear moment, stage gate, and/or cross-functional need across the end-to-end process.
- Maintain data integrity of the product line management systems to ensure product information is accurate and reflected in the appropriate information system.
Requirements
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 additional years of experience in lieu, with 5-8 years’ of footwear product experience in a global product management role with a top athletic and/or outdoor brand. Strong footwear product acumen, strong business acuity, and a proven ability to make strategic decisions are essential. You should have strong global consumer and marketplace knowledge, a great eye for product, with a keen understanding of technical knowledge and style sensibility, strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial and retail metrics, and a proven ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
You should have excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (written and verbal), a passion for your work paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it, and be willing and able to travel regularly, domestically & internationally, to collaborate and engage with partners (up to 35% commitment).

Pay
The salary range for this role is USD$107,000 - USD$141,000. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
Schedule
This role is based out of our Portland office and is expected to be performed on site.
