Senior Product Engineer

About the role

The Senior Product Engineer will be responsible for owning features end-to-end, from customer conversations to architecture to QA. They will lead product development cycles, collaborate cross-functionally, and define architecture and systems that support rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer (no Solutions Engineers or Technical Consultants)
• Strong product ownership mindset — experience building end-to-end products
• Hands-on coding and architecture experience in the past 3 years
• Clear communication around product thinking, system design, and user impact
• Full-stack capability; frontend-leaning candidates welcome
• Pedigree in at least one of the following (or equivalent standout execution): – Top-tier university or elite engineering program – Top-tier startup (under 300 employees, VC-backed) – Name-brand tech company with high engineering bar – Proven ownership and product impact at a lesser-known startup

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience, ideally at Senior or Staff Engineer level
• Startup experience in a VC-backed company building real product
• Demonstrated initiative outside of work (open source, side projects, etc.)
• Experience with LLM-integrated products
• Strong backend experience in Python or Go with frontend fluency in React/Next.js
• Familiarity with SDLC: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, version control
• Comfortable with startup pace, ambiguity, and 0→1 execution

Benefits

• Equity: 0.25% – 0.75%
• Compensation Base Salary: $150,000 – $210,000
