Senior Product Engineer

The Role

The Senior Product Engineer will build the foundational technology for the Prosper Health telehealth platform. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing clinician tooling to support data-driven, best-in-class care.
• Creating AI-powered appointment transcript analysis to enhance client care and automate follow-ups.
• Designing easy client intake processes to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Implementing automatic cost estimates for clients to promote transparency and prevent surprises.
• Optimizing CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and enhancing the developer experience.

About You

• Experience building successful software, either independently or as part of a small team or early-stage startup.
• Excitement for an early-stage environment and being one of the first engineering hires.
• Scrapiness, self-direction, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with React or a similar frontend framework.
• Comfort working across the stack.
• In-person 2-4 days per week in our Chelsea (NYC) office preferred but open to virtual for the right candidate.
• 4+ years of experience, ideally with some experience at a startup.

Process

• An initial 30-minute conversation with Byrne (Head of Engineering).
• A 30-minute live coding interview with a member of the engineering team.
• A 2-3-hour take-home project.
• A 30-minute review of the project with Byrne.
• An onsite interview in Chelsea (NYC) to meet the team.
• We will speak with 2-3 references you provide.
