About the role
VTS is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive product design for high-impact initiatives within VTS Lease, the industry-leading platform transforming how commercial real estate teams manage leasing, make decisions, and drive asset performance.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product Managers to frame problems, define opportunities, and align on product direction.
- Partner closely with Engineering to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
- Create intuitive experiences that embed AI-driven insights directly into the user workflows.
- Translate complex data, including leases, documents, and market signals, into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Balance automation with user control to ensure trust, transparency, and good usability.
- Solve Complex, Real-World Problems
- Design for multi-step, high-stakes workflows involving commercial real estate data.
- Simplify non-linear user journeys across multiple roles, including lease admins, asset managers, and brokers.
- Map legacy processes and systems to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for transformation.
- Drive Research & Insights
- Help with discovery efforts to understand user needs, behaviors, pain points, and decision-making processes.
- Engage customers directly and bring cross-functional partners into the research and synthesis process.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and prioritization.
- Elevate UX and UI Craft
- Bring a high bar for thorough, detailed, and elegant product design.
- Create experiences that are not only functional, but also clear, intuitive, refined, and easy to use.
- Sweat the details across interaction design, information hierarchy, visual design, edge cases, and overall usability.
- Ensure workflows feel cohesive and thoughtfully designed from end to end, especially in complex enterprise environments.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering partners to ensure that craft is preserved through delivery - not just in concept.
- Practice Collaborative Design
- Approach design as a team sport, not a solo activity.
- Facilitate and participate in collaborative ideation sessions with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders.
- Use workshops (e.g., sketching sessions, QAR, journey mapping) to align teams and generate solutions.
- Create transparency in process and decision-making, so teams stay aligned and engaged.
