About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at Revel, you will lead the design of user experiences from discovery through delivery, collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to define and design thoughtful, elegant solutions that solve real user problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of user experiences from discovery through delivery — including research, wireframes, interaction flows, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes.
  • Translate user insights and product goals into intuitive, accessible, and beautiful interfaces.
  • Build and iterate on prototypes to validate design concepts and inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent is realized in the final product.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and standards that scale with our product.
  • Advocate for user needs throughout the product development process and help prioritize design work based on impact and feasibility.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role in a software setting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work and thoughtful problem solving.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Excellent visual design sensibility, interaction design skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing to drive design decisions.
  • Experience working directly with frontend/full-stack engineers.
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS).
  • Background designing for mobile and responsive web platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment with evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience prototyping in code.
  • Experience working on products in aerospace, energy, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
