Key Responsibilities
- Own design for core product workflows across the HubSync platform, from early discovery through the shipped product
- Partner closely with Product Owners and Engineers to move from problem definition to prototypes, specs, implementation, and iteration
- Translate business goals, customer pain points, and accounting workflows into clear product strategy and UX direction
- Run or support customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, workflow mapping, usability reviews, and feedback sessions
- Present design solutions with confidence, communicating tradeoffs, user value, business impact, and implementation considerations
- Design experiences that help CPA firms consolidate fragmented work, reduce manual follow-up, improve visibility, and deliver a better client experience
- Utilize AI, prototypes, and product data as a core part of the design and exploration process
- Strengthen HubSync's design system, Storybook, component usage, interaction standards, and overall product consistency
- Advocate for the end user while balancing operational constraints, technical realities, and business priorities
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product design experience, ideally within complex SaaS, B2B platforms, workflow tools, fintech, accounting, compliance, or operations-heavy products
- A strong portfolio demonstrating shipped product work, highlighting the problem, your process, your decisions, and the outcome
- A strong AI skill set and a modern design workflow, including using AI for research synthesis, UX exploration, prototyping, and documentation
- Experience working directly in or near code (e.g., front-end prototypes, repo-based design work, Storybook)
- Strong product design craft across information architecture, interaction design, visual design, design systems, and clear handoff practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you are comfortable interfacing with technical, non-technical, and client-facing stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active product areas while seeing cross-product patterns
- A self-starter with a bias toward ownership, momentum, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
