About the role
The right person for this role brings strong craft, a builder's instinct, and genuine curiosity about where AI fits into modern design workflows. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our fast-moving product team and take on high-impact work across our web and mobile experience.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for major areas across web and the mobile app — from framing the problem to shipping polished, production-ready UI.
- Turn ambiguity into clarity by translating fuzzy problems into sharp, opinionated solutions grounded in user insight and business context.
- Raise the craft bar — set patterns, sweat the details, and keep the experience consistent across platforms.
- Prototype at real fidelity — build working, clickable prototypes for desktop and mobile, often using AI tools like Figma, Cursor, or Claude.
- Bridge design and code — take strong prototypes into the codebase so engineering handoff is a review, not a translation.
- Partner from day one — work shoulder-to-shoulder with PM and Engineering, contribute to major initiatives and focused early wins, and mentor other designers on the team.
- Use AI to level up your craft — it's woven into how you research, explore, prototype, and ship, and you have a point of view on doing it well.
- Use AI to translate design thinking into working code — moving concepts closer to implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio of shipped work across both desktop web and mobile screen sizes.
- iOS and Android design experience is a meaningful plus.
- Exceptional visual design with a real eye for layout, typography, color, and scale, and it shows in polished, beautiful UI across your portfolio.
- Strong UX fundamentals — you can structure information architecture, map user flows, run research and usability testing, and design accessible experiences (not just pretty ones).
- Expert in Figma — it's your daily driver, and you use it to produce high-quality, well-organized work across responsive web and native mobile.
- A builder's instinct — you prototype, test, and iterate. You don't stop at the mockup.
- Comfort with AI tools as a natural part of your everyday design workflow.
- Self-direction and ownership — you can drive a problem space forward without hand-holding.
- Clear, confident communication — you can explain and defend design decisions to PMs, engineers, and leadership.
Nice to Have
- You've worked with AI in a shared codebase — branches, PRs, code review.
- Experience in marketplaces, subscription products, automotive, or fintech.
