Senior Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a versatile and intrinsically motivated designer who is passionate about rethinking modern software design. You will be part designer, part product manager, part consultant, and part design system manager.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces that align with the company's vision and user needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
• Conduct user research and analyze data to inform design decisions.
• Develop and maintain a robust design system to support consistent and scalable design practices across the organization.
• Consult with engineering teams to ensure designs are implementable and efficient.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve your design skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience in desktop SaaS.
• Able to think from first principles and break down complex user problems.
• Strong skills in layout, navigation, IA, UI, and interaction design.
• Strong visual design skills and a passion for craft and details.

Qualifications

• Experience at an early-stage startup or spending time as a solo designer on a team is a plus.
• You are excited about creating leverage and impact in a non-traditional product design role.
• You enjoy working independently and are comfortable with challenging and evolving design processes.

Skills

• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with design systems and the ability to create and maintain them.
